Registered Nurse Operating RoomLocation: Watertown, New York
Pay Rate: $60/hr to $65/hr
Contract: 13 weeks
Schedule: Day Shift, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Experience: Minimum 2 years required

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse for a 13-week day-shift contract opportunity in Watertown, New York. This role supports the Operating Room team and requires strong OR nursing skills, aseptic technique knowledge, clinical judgment, leadership ability, and flexibility for call coverage.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care in the operating room setting
• Assess patient needs and support safe surgical care before, during, and after procedures
• Maintain a safe and aseptic environment using OR equipment and instrumentation
• Support patient positioning, safety, and use of lifts when needed
• Document care accurately using Meditech and collaborate with the surgical team

Requirements

• Active New York Registered Nurse License Required
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience required
• BLS Certification Required; ACLS Certification Preferred
• Meditech experience preferred; lethal dysrhythmia interpretation skills required
• Must meet 100-mile radius rule and be available for weekend, holiday, and call coverage with 30-minute response time
