We're looking for an Infusion Suite Nurse who wants their work to mean something - a licensed Registered Nurse who brings clinical excellence, empathy, and purpose to every patient interaction.
Why This Role Matters
The Infusion Suite Nurse plays a vital role in delivering safe, personalized intravenous therapies while supporting patients through complex diagnoses and treatment plans. This role is often the face of care - building trust with patients and families while collaborating closely with physicians and clinical leaders.
In this role, you'll contribute to work that:
- Helps patients feel seen, supported, and confident during infusion therapy
- Ensures safe administration and monitoring of hightech IV medications
- Supports providers through clear communication and skilled clinical execution
- Strengthens a patientfirst, clinicianled organization focused on outcomes
Every infusion, every conversation, and every reassessment matters - and your work makes that care experience brighter.
What You'll Do
In this role, you will:
- Deliver intravenous infusion therapy safely and effectively in an infusion suite setting
- Monitor patients before, during, and after infusions, identifying and managing reactions or complications as needed
- Perform IV insertions across all age groups, including peripheral, PICC, and PortaCath access
- Collaborate closely with physicians and clinical leadership to implement and adjust patient care plans
- Provide patient and caregiver education tailored to individual understanding and anxiety levels
- Support patient assessments and nurse/patient education initiatives as requested by the Clinical Nurse Manager
- Maintain accurate, detailed clinical documentation and patient records
- Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team members to support holistic patient needs
- Manage infusion appointments and contribute to efficient scheduling and patient flow
- Focus on positive patient outcomes through compassionate communication and high clinical standards
What We're Looking For
You may be a great fit if you bring:
- A deep commitment to patientcentered care and advocacy
- Strong communication skills with patients, families, and care teams
- Confidence delivering IV therapies and managing complex infusion protocols
- Comfort educating patients with empathy, clarity, and calm
- A desire to work on a team that values both compassion and clinical excellence
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license with ability to practice in New York State
- Proficiency with IV insertions across age groups, PICC and PortaCath management, and nursing assessments
- Experience delivering highquality patient care and supporting patient satisfaction
- Basic computer proficiency (e.g., Microsoft Office, clinical documentation systems)
- Knowledge and experience using IV pumps
- Ability to communicate professionally and serve as a patient advocate
Preferred Qualifications
- Two (2) or more years of nursing experience with emphasis on IV insertions, SubQ and IM injections, and oral medication administration
You don't need to check every box - we care just as much about how you show up for patients as your years of experience.
