Kahala Nui, considered Hawaii's premier Senior Living Community, is looking for Full-Time Registered Nurses (RN) to join our team!
POSITION SUMMARY:As a RN you are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating all nursing care prescribed for and provided to our nursing home residents.
Note: We accept New Graduate RNs!
SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS:
  • Shifts available - DAY (6:00AM - 2:30PM) and EVENING (2:00pm - 10:30pm)
  • Flexible availability to work other shifts as needed is a plus.
  • Must be available Sunday through Saturday, including weekends and holidays, as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Valid state of Hawaii Registered Nurse license in good standing
  • Availability to work varied schedules including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English sufficiently to communicate with residents, families, and associates.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to solve problems under minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency with basic computer functions, including email, web browsers, standard office applications, and electronic health records systems to document resident care and clinical workflows per regulation.
  • Must have flexibility to work all shifts including day, night, overnight, weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Proof of annual TB clearance in accordance with state regulations
  • Proof of valid CPF and First Aid certifications

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
  • Minimum 1-3 years of clinical nursing experience in a healthcare, long-tern, assisted living, or related setting.
  • Supervisory or charge nurse experience.
