QComp Technologies is a robotic systems integrator in the Fox Valley that serves clients throughout the United States and Canada. Our Greenville, WI based company provides robotic packaging systems, material handling systems and automation line integration for clients in the flat glass, solar, consumer products, food, pharmaceutical, plastics, paper, and metals industries.

To support the continued growth of our engineering team, we have created an Controls Engineer opportunity. 

In this role, the Controls Engineer will be exposed to a variety of industrial and peripheral equipment to be integrated into a functioning custom solution that meets our customers’ requirements.

· Programming & writing code to ensure our robotic automation solutions perform to our customers’ standards 

· Troubleshooting complex technical problems with our talented team of engineers and technicians

· Participating in regular project meetings to ensure projects are on time and progress as planned

· Representing QComp in customer meetings to provide technical advice and creative solutions to exceed our customers’ expectations

· Ensuring a smooth equipment startup at the customer facility

Requirements:

Qualifications & Experience you bring…

· Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering

· 3+ years of experience programming in an industrial automation environment

· Familiar with Rockwell Automation products – required

· Ability to integrate an ABB or Fanuc Robotics system from start to finish – a plus

· PickMaster/PickTool/PalletTool experience – a plus

· Experience with packaging machinery - a plus
