Job description

Bison Drivers are paid every week, on time! This unique position requires you to be on the road 7 days at a time followed by 7 days off. Running primarily in British Columbia, Alberta, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, and California

  • Multiple departure days are available with an Average of 6,000 to 7,000 miles per month
  • Required to drive in B.C. including Highway 1 and Highway 3, 12 months a year
  • Additional work might be available upon request
  • Regional work will be required
  • Must be able to haul containers to and from the rail yards
  • Must be able to haul all commodities including meat and alcohol
  • Non-Smoking Truck Share unit

Candidate Profile:

  • Company Driver with 24 months tractor-trailer experience
  • Must have a valid Class 1/AZ license
  • Must be U.S. qualified
  • Must have a minimum of 6 months U.S. driving experience
  • Must have a minimum of 6 months B.C. Mountain experience
  • Must be able to work weekends
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or more, Driver assist is required on occasion
  • Reliable, flexible, and punctual
  • Strong communication skills
  • Values safety
