Job description

Water's Edge Resort and Spa is seeking a friendly, professional and organized Host to join our team. You must be able to multi-task and ensure that each guest has an overall excellent experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and greet guests with a positive attitude
  • Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating in computer system
  • Answer phone calls and assist with guest questions
  • Coordinate with servers and management to maintain smooth guest flow
  • Keep the entrance and host area clean and organized
  • Provide excellent customer service from arrival to departure
  • Assist waitstaff as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Friendly and professional communication skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work well with a team
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Availability to work various shifts as needed including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to stand and use stairs for the duration of shift
  • Previous restaurant or customer-service experience is a plus, but not required
