Hours of Work: Variable - Primarily Monday through Friday (days), Select evenings/weekends

Reporting to: Summer Camp Director
Start Date: May 2026

At Brimacombe ski area we don't just offer skiing and snowboarding, we offer a place for all ages to get outside, enjoy the fresh air and create memorable experiences! Entering our ninth year of summer camps, we are currently seeking fun, outgoing, and responsible Camp Supervisors to help us make Camp Brimacombe a fun and safe place for our campers this summer.

As part of our Camp Brimacombe team, you will be responsible for assisting in programming and providing leadership and oversight to our Camp Counsellors. We will treat you with respect and give you the opportunity to take ownership this summer by providing input into the camp programs, and helping implement positive growth of counsellors, campers and the camp itself.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership, direction, oversight and support to Camp Counsellors while running programs, ensuring accountability to Camp Brimacombe's policies, procedures and standards.
  • Act as a point-person with parents/guardians, communicating camper's experiences, addressing concerns and reporting to Camp Director.
  • Monitor camp activities, providing recognition and coaching as well as investigating and documenting policy and procedure infractions, bringing them to the attention of the Camp Director.
  • Assist Camp Director with planning and preparation of upcoming days/weeks. Ensure programs run on schedule and all required supplies are prepared ahead of time.
  • Assist in completing and auditing accurate record-keeping including incident reports, logbook documentation and daily camp attendance.
  • Perform and document EMS calls as required. Review, complete and follow up on incident reports.
  • Maintain accurate program records including incident reports, logbook documentation and daily attendance.
  • Lead campers through pre-programmed activities during Before and After Camps
  • Take on any challenge or help other team members when needed, including but not limited to stepping in as a camp counsellor as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Successful completion of an OSSD
  • Minimum 2 years experience with children or educational setting
  • Valid First Aid and CPR-C certification
  • Successful Criminal Records Check with Vulnerable Sector Search, required prior to the first day of work.
  • Provide Ministry of Labour Workplace Health and Safety Certificate for Supervisors, prior to first day of work
  • Provide HIGHFIVE Principals of Healthy Childhood Development certificate, prior to first day of work
  • Must be able to legally work in Canada
