A Moment’s Notice Health Care specializes in providing compassionate and professional Home Care Services in Indian River and surrounding counties. We ensure seniors receive the support they need while maintaining their independence at home. We are currently hiring compassionate, dependable, team-oriented individuals to provide care for our clients, playing a vital role in enhancing their quality of life and well-being while they remain in their home.


This is a NON-SKILLED private duty caregiver position.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

  • Valid FL Driver's License

  • CPR/BLS Certification

  • Valid LPN License

  • Alzheimer's & Dementia CEU (2 hours)

  • Assistance with Self Administration of Medication CEU (minimum 2 hours)

  • HIPAA CEU (1 hour)

  • HIV/AIDS CEU (4 hours)

  • Complete all physical and mental demands for described position. Moderate lifting, standing, walking, moving throughout shift. 

  • Reliable transportation and current auto insurance

  • Work with pets when necessary

  • Knowledge of the English language

Responsibilities:

  • Provide care in accordance with the Care Plan agreed upon by Nursing Supervisor and Client and/or Client’s family. 

  • Thoroughly document all care provided during shift.

  • Assistance with activities of daily living including but not limited to bathing, toileting, medication reminders, vital signs and light housekeeping. 

  • Monitoring Alzheimer’s & Dementia Clients (when applicable)

  • Assisting Clients with mobility exercises including transferring, positioning and lifting.

  • Complies with policies and procedures including standards of conduct and work ethics, HIPAA policy, dress code and weekend / holiday availability policies.

  • Responsible for working all assigned shifts-finding replacement for shift when needed.
