Job Description
Perform miscellaneous building maintenance such as: repair, maintain and/or replace windows, doors door hardware, window coverings, floor tile, ceiling tile, paint, chalkboards, furniture. fire alarms, light fixtures, light bulbs, electrical receptacles, emergency lights, lavatories, toilets, soap/towel dispensers, etc.
Assist with maintaining buildings exteriors and grounds, including mowing lawns, trash pickup, maintaining irrigation system, cleaning drains and gutters, maintaining exterior light fixtures and bulb replacement.
Assist with carpentry and painting projects.
Assist with maintaining HVAC filter changes and preventive and repairative maintenance on HVAC units.
Assist with event setups, loading & unloading deliveries, moving furniture and equipment.
Provide prompt and positive response to maintenance requests from school faculty, staff and parents.
Respond to public inquiries in courteous manner, provide information within scope of authority and knowledge, and refer to Facilities Director as appropriate.
Other duties as assigned.
OCCASIONAL/AS NEEDED DUTIES:
Assist with campus security
Assist with crossing guard duty
Open and close campus facilities.
Perform janitorial and cleaning duties
Pick up building/cleaning supplies from local building supply distributor.
Occasional overtime associated with evening and weekend event support.
