Job description

Weekend Receptionist
Birch Creek Assisted Living is looking for a friendly, dependable, and organized Weekend Receptionist to join our team. This is a great position for someone who enjoys working with seniors, families, and staff in a warm, welcoming environment.
As the Weekend Receptionist, you will often be the first person residents, families, visitors, and professionals see when they come through our doors. Your kindness, professionalism, and ability to stay calm and helpful will play an important role in creating a positive experience for everyone at Birch Creek.
The schedule for this position is 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on alternating Saturdays and Sundays. You will work opposite another weekend receptionist, so this is a part-time position with a consistent rotating weekend schedule.
Responsibilities include answering phones, greeting and assisting visitors, communicating resident needs to care staff, helping residents and families with questions or concerns, completing filing and record-keeping tasks, assisting with timesheet corrections, and helping with other administrative tasks as assigned by the administrator.
The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, a friendly and professional attitude, good time management, and the ability to multitask. Basic computer skills are important, including comfort using Google Workspace or similar programs. Previous office or receptionist experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right person.
Most importantly, we are looking for someone who enjoys seniors, treats people with kindness and respect, and can represent Birch Creek well at the front desk.
This is a part-time position. Benefits include PTO, delicious food, cheerful coworkers, access to our massage chair, and the opportunity to work with wonderful residents and families.
If you are dependable, warm, and excited about making a difference in the lives of seniors, we would love to hear from you. Please apply with your resume.
Pursuant to the State of Utah rules and regulations governing assisted living facilities we are not allowed to hire any person who cannot pass a criminal background check due to past felonies.
