About Wildwood Elder Estate

Wildwood Elder Estate is a small, home-like senior living residence dedicated to providing compassionate, personalized care. With only 5 residents, our caregivers have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships and provide individualized attention in a warm, supportive environment.

Position Summary

We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and patient Senior Companion Caregiver to provide overnight and weekend support for our residents. No previous caregiving experience is required. We are happy to train individuals who have a genuine passion for helping seniors and a desire to make a positive impact in their lives.

Responsibilities

Companion Care

  • Provide companionship, conversation, and emotional support.
  • Encourage social engagement and participation in activities.
  • Build positive relationships with residents and their families.
  • Promote residents' independence while ensuring their comfort and safety.

Overnight Responsibilities

  • Monitor residents throughout the night and respond to requests for assistance.
  • Assist residents with bathroom visits and mobility needs as necessary.
  • Help residents remain comfortable and safe during overnight hours.
  • Observe and report any concerns or changes in residents' condition.
  • Complete light housekeeping and organizational tasks during quiet periods.

Weekend Support

  • Assist with daily routines and activities.
  • Provide companionship and engagement throughout the weekend.
  • Help with meal preparation and meal service.

General Duties
