What You Will Work On
  • Support the core functions of the client's 24/7/365 Global Security Operations Center (GSOC). The GSOC analyst monitors and responds to security threats across the client's global operations.
  • The analyst will work in the GSOC located at the client's office in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
  • The analyst is expected to perform shiftwork (including nights, evenings, weekends, and holidays) to meet the 24/7/365 needs of the GSOC.
  • Analysts will assess alerts and incidents for client impact, assist in producing specific briefings or presentations, manage emergency incidents using judgment and skills in accordance with commonly accepted incident management best practices and client policies and procedures, and perform other duties as assigned within the scope of the program.

What You Will Bring
Education Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required

Work Experience
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in intelligence gathering, analysis, alerting, threat assessment, incident response, or a related field required.

Skills
  • Ability to take initiative and multitask under pressure.
  • Ability to intake, evaluate, and sift large quantities of information.
  • Effective problem-solving, time management, and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of world news and current events.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required, including accurate typing skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
