Salary:ย  $16.25/hour

Job Description:ย  Under general supervision, will work with developmentally delayed adult females in a group home setting. Provide training in activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, other personal hygiene, feeding, toileting, transferring and other similar tasks. Staff will also provide community based social skills. Completes household care, such as, meal preparation, clothes laundering, bed making, housecleaning, simple home repair, yard care, and other similar tasks. Will help with medical appointments, assisting with therapeutic exercises, and assisting with or supervising self-administration of medication or proxy care. Provides daily documentation; individual will need to have computer and typing skills.

Job Responsibilities: This position will work a rotating shift and will require weekend and other non-traditional hours. Examples of shifts will be provided at interview.

Competencies: Ability to observe and monitor clientโ€™s behavior. Ability to provide training and/or orientation services to participants. Ability to participate in supportive guidance. Ability to work flexible hours. Proficient with computers.

Required Minimum Qualifications:ย  High school diploma (or GED) and valid driverโ€™s license.ย ย  Applicant must be at least 21 years old and have three years driving experience to provide transportation. 6 monthโ€™s social services experience required.ย  CNA and related experience preferred.
