Help Keep T&W Flea Market Looking Its Best

T&W Flea Market is looking for a motivated, dependable, and energetic Grounds Maintenance Support to join our weekend operations team.

This hands-on position is a great fit for someone who enjoys working outdoors, operating landscaping equipment, staying active, and completing a variety of tasks. You will help keep our market clean, safe, organized, and ready to welcome our vendors and guests each weekend.

No two days are exactly the same. You may be landscaping, assisting with cleanup, delivering tables to vendors, supporting a special event, or helping with other operational needs throughout the property.

We are looking to hire immediately - apply today!

Schedule
  • Saturday and Sunday
  • 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Weekend availability is required.
What You’ll Do
  • Perform general grounds maintenance and janitorial work.
  • Complete landscaping duties throughout the property.
  • Safely operate weed eaters, riding mowers, leaf blowers, power drills, paint equipment, and other assigned tools.
  • Pick up trash and maintain cleanliness throughout the market, food stand areas, parking lots, and surrounding grounds.
  • Respond to vendor table requests communicated by radio.
  • Deliver and set up tables in designated vendor areas.
  • Assist with special events and operational projects.
  • Support other areas of the Operations Department as needed.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized condition.
  • Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and equipment operating guidelines.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
What We’re Looking For
  • At least one year of landscaping, grounds maintenance, janitorial, facilities, or related experience is preferred.
  • Experience safely operating landscaping equipment and power tools is preferred.
  • Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned work safely and efficiently.
  • Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work with limited supervision.
  • Comfortable communicating by radio and interacting professionally with vendors, guests, employees, and management.
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing as part of a team.
  • A positive, hands-on, “can-do” attitude.
Physical Requirements

This is an active, primarily outdoor position that requires the ability to:

  • Stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Bend, crawl, climb, crouch, kneel, balance, push, pull, and reach overhead.
  • Safely lift and carry tools, tables, equipment, and materials weighing at least 30 pounds.
  • Work safely in confined spaces and at elevated heights.
  • Safely use ladders, scaffolding, landscaping equipment, power tools, and other maintenance equipment.
  • Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
