Weekend Green Line Bus Driver information

Do weekend green line bus drivers work 40 hours a week?

Weekend Green Line bus drivers typically work fewer than 40 hours per week, as their schedules often include part-time shifts or weekend-only hours. The exact hours depend on the employer's scheduling needs and the driver's availability, but full-time schedules are less common on weekends. Drivers may need to be flexible with their hours and may work additional shifts during busy periods.

What disqualifies you from being a weekend green line bus driver?

Disqualifications for a weekend Green Line bus driver typically include a poor driving record, lack of required commercial driver's license (CDL) with passenger endorsement, criminal background issues, or failing a drug and alcohol test. Additionally, candidates must meet age and health requirements and pass background checks and training assessments.

Do weekend green line bus drivers get paid more at night?

Weekend Green Line bus drivers typically receive higher pay rates for night shifts due to overtime or shift differentials, which are common in transit jobs. These additional wages compensate drivers for working during less desirable hours, such as late at night or early morning shifts.
