  • Streamlines the creation of internal and external marketing collateral to reduce turnaround times for departments (e.g., HR recruiting materials, clinical service line developments, patient education).
  • Insources graphic production workflows to maintain high brand standards across both networks, eliminating the need for external agency contracting.

  • Ensures rapid deployment of localized marketing tactics to capture and retain market share within the RCHC service area.

FOUNDATION & ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT:

  • Supports the marketing goals of the Goodland Medical Foundation, Rawlins County Health Center Foundation, and the GRMC Auxillary by providing high-quality creative assets for donor campaigns and capital initiatives.
  • Attends foundation and community education meetings as requested to provide marketing updates.
  • Tracks hours and allocations accurately across facilities in accordance with the network Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for cost reporting and reimbursement.

SAFETY & PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT:

  • Performs duties as the RCHC Public Information Officer (PIO) during facility emergencies, attaining appropriate incident command qualifications and continuing education within the first two years.
  • Maintains ongoing professional growth through seminars, workshops, and affiliations to remain highly proficient in modern design, healthcare marketing trends, and digital strategies.
  • Performs other related operational duties as assigned to support the marketing department.

Competencies:

  • Advanced Graphic Design & Typographic Skills: Highly proficient in translating clinical concepts into engaging consumer visuals.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills tailored for rural healthcare audiences.
  • Technical Agility: Advanced comfort adapting to content management systems, social media schedulers, and design interfaces.
  • Organization & Independence: Self-motivated with the ability to manage a high volume of tactical design requests across dual facilities under minimal supervision.
  • Interpersonal Excellence: Strong collaborative skills to interface effectively with internal clinical staff, executives, foundation donors, and the general public.

Position Qualifications:

Minimum Education: Associate of Applied Science in Computer Graphics Technology, Graphic Design, Digital Media, or parallel areas of emphasis required; Bachelorโ€™s degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, or Business Communications preferred.

Minimum Experience: 2โ€“3 years of dedicated graphic design and content creation experience preferred (will train the right candidate possessing a strong portfolio). Experience within a healthcare setting is a major plus.
