Job description

Start Your Nursing Career with Deaconess
Graduation is only the beginning-this is where your nursing career takes off.
The Deaconess LPN Graduate role is designed to help new graduates transition from the classroom to the bedside with confidence. As an LPN Graduate, you'll work under the direct supervision of an RN or LPN preceptor while gaining hands-on experience, building clinical judgment, and strengthening your nursing skills in a real patient care setting as you prepare for full LPN practice.
This training position is more than just a first job-it's a bridge to your future career. You'll have the opportunity to learn the flow of inpatient nursing, develop your understanding of the nursing process, and grow into the licensed LPN role with support from experienced nurses and leaders who are invested in your success.
What makes this opportunity especially exciting is the flexibility and reach it offers. This posting is open to all 2026 LPN graduates interested in inpatient opportunities across Deaconess Midtown, Gateway, Henderson, and Gibson Hospitals-giving you the chance to find the right fit while starting your career within one health system.
If you're ready to turn your education into experience and begin your nursing journey with a team that will support your growth from day one, Deaconess is ready for you.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing
  • Applied for and/or awaiting results of the NCLEX exam
