We are currently looking for a Full Time Security Officer II to join our Protective Services, Srvs and Fac-Gam and Ret SU2 team located at the Culture and Humanities Administration working 8:00AM-5:00PM - Mo Tu We Th Fr.
Summary:
Guards and monitors company grounds to prevent theft, violence, or other loss of company property. Provides full security services including active patrols, situation de-escalation, apprehension, guarding facility entrances or specific locations, escorting patrons, escorting and monitoring drop team and money carts, preparing reports and some administrative functions including, filing, sorting, organizing, phone calls, data entry and report tracking. Handles moderately complex issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
Responsibilities:
* Provides first class customer service to both internal and external customers and responds to inquiries, compliments, and/or complaints with professionalism, courtesy, and efficiency
* Completes all training and development requirements and participates in continuing education opportunities
* Works in a collaborative and supportive manner to support the productivity and safety of the work area, team members and customers of all types

- Punctual and consistent in meeting start time, work schedule, attendance and other assigned work time metrics

- May guard facility entrances - controlling access and alarming others as necessary
- Escorts patrons or guests
- Escorts/monitors drop team and money carts when assigned to gaming facility
- May prepare temporarty visitor IDs
- Responds to security breaches
- Executes internal and external patrols of assigned areas and locations
- Monitors opening and closing machines for routine repairs and maintenance when assigned to gaming facility
* Follows guidelines to protect guests and employees in emergency situations such as inclement weather, fire, active shooter, etc.
* Handles moderately complex issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff, direct supervisor or next level manager
