Job description

Continuously exemplifies the Greenwood Communities and Resorts (GCR) mission, values, and customer service philosophy of GCR in job performance and in relationships with others. Support the course 1st Assistant and Superintendent. Will be trained to perform chemical and fertilizer applications on the golf courses and grounds. Assist with the day-to-day operations of the golf courses and ongoing projects.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
• Takes pride in delivering and maintaining exceptional, pristine golf course conditions.
• Performs chemical and fertilizer applications in accordance with established agronomic plans and safety standards.
• Troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains irrigation systems to ensure optimal course conditions.
• Completes special projects and additional assignments with a high level of ownership and attention to detail.
• Adheres to all OSHA standards, safety guidelines, and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Follows all Resort policies and procedures consistently and professionally.
• Safely operates, maintains, and cares for golf course equipment as required.
• Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local safety and environmental regulations.
• Demonstrates a positive, "anything is possible" attitude while contributing to a high-performing team environment.
• Actively seeks opportunities to learn, grow, and expand technical skills related to golf course maintenance.
• Supports team operations by performing other duties as assigned.
Requirements
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS: EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS
• Possess strong communication, problem solving, and organizational skills
• Minimum 1 year experience working on a golf course
