Job description

JOB SUMMARY: The Golf Course Halfway House and Beverage Cart staff are responsible for overseeing the concessions of the golf course. Responsibilities include:

  • Prepare food products per the State and local Health Department codes.
  • Sanitize food preparation equipment under the aforementioned codes.
  • Serve a combination of food and drinks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Stock the Halfway House and Beverage Cart as needed.
  • Check I.D.’s and enforce all regulations regarding the sale of alcohol.
  • Provide list of items that need to be ordered to Food & Beverage Manager.
  • Clean up and put away all supplies after events.
  • Collect payment and comply with all Cash Handling Procedures.
  • Ensure that the Halfway House and Beverage Cart are clean.
  • Provide inventory control and notify manager of missing or spoiled food.
  • Secure qualified substitute for any assigned shift when unable to work

QUALIFICATIONS: Must be at least 21 years of age and a high school graduate or equivalent. BASSETT certified or ability to obtain certification upon being hired required. Strong people and customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with staff and the public is crucial.

SCHUDULE & PAY: This is a part-time, seasonal position from Spring to October. Hours vary and include weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Anticipated pay is between $15.00 - $16.00 per hour PLUS tips.
