Are you a passionate full-time dermatologist seeking to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our Veterans? The Salisbury VA Healthcare System is looking for a dedicated, board-certified dermatologist to join our compassionate team.

Position Highlights:

  • Salary Range: $275,000 – $385,000 (Sign-on bonus Authorized)
  • EDRP (Education Debt Reduction Program): Authorized
  • Practice Environment: Outpatient/ambulatory dermatology consultative practice, including face-to-face clinics and tele-dermatology services
  • Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm; compressed work schedule available; no nights or weekend calls
  • Teaching & Research Opportunities: Collaborate with medical students and residents; research encouraged but not mandatory
  • Location: Experience the friendly community of Salisbury, with convenient access to North Carolina’s beautiful parks, lakes, and outdoor attractions.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Board-certified or eligible in Dermatology
  • U.S. Citizenship: Non-citizens may only be appointed when it is impossible to recruit qualified citizens, in accordance with VA Policy.
  • Education: A Doctor of Medicine degree or an equivalent degree in allopathic or osteopathic medicine is required.
  • Licensure: Candidates must possess a current, complete, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in a state, territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.
  • Residency: Completion of a residency program in an accredited core specialty
  • Willing to consider current trainees and recent graduates
