Job description

Job Summary The Pro Shop Golf Lead plays a key role in delivering outstanding customer experience while supporting daily golf operations. This position provides leadership to Pro Shop staff, ensures smooth day-to-day operations, and serves as a point of contact for guests, leagues, and outside services during assigned shifts. Schedule: Days, with some nights, weekends, and holidays required Essential Job Functions Take tee times and answer general questions from those that call and/or visit the Pro Shop.

Process guest checks, accept payment and make change. Must be able to handle money. Accountable for cash and guest check charges.

Sell tee times, golf carts, range tokens and merchandise. Assist with leagues and tournaments. Ensure that patrons are satisfied with the golf experience.

Provide excellent customer service in the Pro Shop and out on the golf course. Answer questions regarding services and products the golf course provides. Retrieve, clean and put away golf carts.

Clean the Pro Shop. Perform various duties as assigned by management. Minimum Requirements Knowledge and passion for the game of golf.

Previous retail experience. Knowledge of laws concerning the service and use of intoxicating liquor. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Must have outstanding customer service skills.

Must possess basic math skills. Must have the ability to operate cash register and handle money and charges. Must present a professional image.

Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with elected officials, employees and the public.
