Job description

The Starters will provide all players or non-playing guests with an anticipated, well-informed and enthusiastic greeting. They willassist the Golf Professional in maintaining orderly tee time starts, enforcing golf dress code and monitoring golf course etiquette. Have thorough knowledge of the golf course and policies so as to appropriately answer inquiries from guest about facility and services. Helping keep the course clean and helping create an enjoyable golf experience for all guests. Provides the highest possible level of customer service through continual adherence and support of the mission statement.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Greeting every golfer prior to the start of their round.
  • Assure that all golfers have checked in at the golf shop.
  • Providing information regarding history of the facility, course information, and rules.
  • Assist with the dress code policy.
  • Monitoring the pace of play.
  • Assisting the Tournament Director with group events.
