Description:

The Golf Shop Attendant is responsible for providing excellent customer service to members and guests, ensuring the smooth operation of the golf shop. This includes assisting with golf equipment rentals, retail sales, checking in players, maintaining an organized and clean shop environment, and supporting various golf operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for golf, attention to detail, and a friendly, professional demeanor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service:
  • Greet members, guests, and staff with a warm, professional, and friendly attitude.
  • Provide information regarding golf shop products, services, and club facilities.
  • Assist members and guests with golf equipment rentals (clubs, carts, etc.)
  • Ensure a positive and memorable experience for all guests and members by providing a personalized service.
  • Golf Shop Operations:
  • Check in players for tee times and ensure all golf-related transactions (e.g., green fees, cart rentals, and retail purchases) are processed accurately.
  • Monitor golf cart availability, ensuring that carts are cleaned and ready for use.
  • Assist in stocking and organizing merchandise such as apparel, golf clubs, balls, accessories, and other retail items.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional appearance of the golf shop at all times.
  • Ensure that shelves, displays, and merchandise are neat and well-stocked.
  • Tee Time Management and Coordination:
  • Assist with scheduling tee times and ensuring members' requests are met.
  • Keep track of tee time reservations and ensure smooth flow on the course.
  • Other Duties:
  • Support the Golf Shop Manager and other staff with administrative tasks as necessary.
