Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Jr. GIS Analyst to join our Land team. The successful candidate will support various land projects by providing Geographic Information System (GIS) expertise. This role involves data collection, analysis, and visualization to assist in land management, planning, and development initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Data Collection and Management: Gather, organize, and maintain spatial data from various sources, including field surveys, satellite imagery, and public databases.
  • GIS Analysis: Perform spatial analysis to support land use planning, environmental impact assessments, and resource management.
  • Mapping and Visualization: Create detailed maps and visualizations to communicate findings and support decision-making processes.
  • Database Maintenance: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of GIS databases, including updating and correcting data as needed.
  • Technical Support: Provide GIS technical support to the Land team and other stakeholders, including troubleshooting and resolving GIS-related issues.
  • Reporting: Prepare reports and presentations summarizing GIS analysis and findings for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including planners, engineers, and environmental scientists, to integrate GIS data into project workflows

 Skills:

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS), spatial analysis, and data visualization tools.
