If so, we invite you to join our team as our next Director of Sales.
 
In this key leadership role, you will guide and support a team of Regional Account Managers, Business Development Managers, and Lead Generation Specialists as they work to grow sales, strengthen customer relationships, and expand our presence in the independent pharmacy marketplace. You'll collaborate closely with executive leadership to develop and execute growth strategies, identify new opportunities, and help shape the future direction of our organization.
 
What You'll Do
As Director of Sales, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and supporting the success of our sales organization by:
  • Leading, coaching, and developing Regional Account Managers, Business Development Managers, and Lead Generation Specialists.
  • Creating and executing strategic sales plans designed to achieve growth, profitability, and customer retention goals.
  • Supporting sales team members in prospecting, relationship development, lead generation, and closing new business opportunities.
  • Monitoring sales performance, pipeline activity, market trends, and CRM data to forecast growth and identify opportunities.
  • Preparing and presenting sales activity reports, forecasts, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and the Board of Directors.
  • Participating in customer presentations and business reviews, discussing programs, services, profitability, and growth opportunities.
  • Managing key customer accounts and serving as a trusted business partner to clients.
  • Collaborating with Marketing to develop lead generation campaigns and sales initiatives.
  • Working closely with Business Analytics, Logistics, Strategic Pharmacy Initiatives, and other internal teams to uncover new markets, improve reporting, and enhance customer value.
  • Providing feedback from the marketplace to help drive innovation, service enhancements, and future growth opportunities.
  • Championing company programs that support customer success and increase generic pharmaceutical sales.

  • Knowledge of PSAOs, contracting, purchasing, profitability analysis, and business development strategies.
  • Experience in prospecting, lead generation, customer retention, and closing sales.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to discuss financial performance and profitability with customers.
  • Experience utilizing CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
  • Ability to travel extensively, including frequent overnight travel throughout multi-state regions.
Preferred
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience in pharmacy, pharmaceutical sales, healthcare distribution, or related healthcare industries.
  • Demonstrated success leading sales teams and driving sustained revenue growth.
