About the Role

Century Garage Door Repair Service is looking for a driven and personable Garage Door Sales Technician to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to combine handsโ€‘on technical skills with customerโ€‘facing sales in a growing and essential home services industry. Responsibilities

The Garage Door Sales Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, servicing, and installing residential and commercial garage door systems while identifying customer needs and recommending appropriate products, repairs, and upgrades. This role combines technical field service with consultative sales to provide exceptional customer service and drive revenue growth. NO experience necessary, training will be provided.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Customer Service
  • Respond to scheduled service calls and customer appointments.
  • Professionally explain repair recommendations and available options.
  • Build trust with customers through honest and transparent communication.
  • Collect customer signatures and required documentation.
  • Inspect garage doors, openers, springs, tracks, cables, rollers, and related components.
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Perform repairs, adjustments, maintenance, and installations.
  • Replace damaged or worn parts safely and efficiently.
  • Conduct safety inspections and operational testing.
  • Maintain company quality and safety standards
  • Upsell premium products, smart openers, and door replacement opportunities when appropriate.
  • Complete service tickets and work orders accurately.
  • Maintain inventory and companyโ€‘issued tools.
Requirements
  • Provide the highest level of Customer Service
  • Good mechanical aptitude
  • Exceptional work ethic and strong attendance record
  • Willingness to learn and be part of a team
  • Must be able to pass a Criminal Background check
  • Must possess valid driver's license
  • Must have flexible schedule to meet customer's needs
  • Ability to lift 75 lbs
  • Prior experience in garage door sales, installation, or repair preferred
  • No Experience Required; Training provided
Salary
  • 80K-120k year (commission based)
