Job description

Description
Designer Garage Doors is looking for an experienced Garage Door Installer to join our growing installation team.
We specialize in high-end residential garage doors and custom projects throughout Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Our work ranges from premium wood and composite doors to large custom installations and architectural projects.
This is not a typical high-volume service position. Our installers work on quality projects where craftsmanship, attention to detail, and professionalism matter.
We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, can work independently, and understands that the way we interact with a homeowner is just as important as the installation itself.
Responsibilities
What you'll do
• Install residential garage doors and openers
• Perform new construction and replacement installations
• Complete accurate measurements and site inspections
• Diagnose and repair existing garage door systems when needed
• Work with hand and power tools
• Communicate professionally with homeowners, builders, and other trades
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
• Use company software to document jobs and communicate updates
• Work independently while collaborating with our installation and sales teams
• With experience, have the opportunity to take on lead installer responsibilities and train other team members
