Join our growing team at Prutch's Garage Door & More, where we proudly serve the Gunnison Valley with trusted garage door service, installation, and repair.

We're seeking skilled and motivated garage door technicians who value quality craftsmanship, teamwork, and customer satisfaction. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced, customer-focused technician who enjoys solving problems, helping people, and recommending practical solutions.

As part of our Gunnison crew, you'll play a key role in keeping homes and local businesses running smoothly by providing reliable garage door solutions built to withstand Colorado's mountain weather.

What You'll Do
  • Install, repair, and maintain residential and commercial garage doors and openers.
  • Diagnose garage door and opener issues and provide customers with safe, reliable solutions.
  • Deliver five-star customer service through clear communication, professionalism, and respect.
  • Explain repair and replacement options and recommend appropriate upgrades based on each customer's needs.
  • Document completed work with accurate notes, diagrams, and photos.
  • Inspect your work to ensure it meets company expectations and applicable safety standards.
  • Coordinate with dispatchers and teammates using company-provided systems and tools.
  • Work a flexible schedule with rotating shifts. We operate seven days a week from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
What You Bring
  • At least two years of garage door installation, service, or repair experience.
  • A valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Strong communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • A customer-focused approach and the confidence to explain repair and replacement options.
  • The ability to lift more than 75 pounds, climb ladders, and safely use standard hand and power tools.
  • A positive, organized attitude with a strong sense of urgency and accountability.
  • A high school diploma or GED.
