Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced garage door installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in garage door installation and repair, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. As an installer, please be prepared to travel to various locations and interact with customers on a regular basis.


Primary Area of Focus:

As a garage door installer, you will be responsible for installing, repairing and maintaining garage doors for residential and commercial clients. You will be expected to have a solid understanding of garage door mechanics and electrical systems and be able to provide exceptional customer service while performing installations and repairs.


Key Responsibilities

•Install various types of garage doors and perform maintenance and repair services on existing garage doors and openers.

•Handling and assembling garage door components, including tracks, springs, cables, panels, and openers

•Ensure that all installations meet industry standards and adhere to safety regulations.

•Provide estimates and quotes for services to potential clients.

•Ensure that all tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored in a safe and secure manner.

•Maintain accurate records of installations and repairs, and complete paperwork as required.

•Provide exceptional customer service to all clients, including answering questions and resolving any issues that may arise.

•Additional tasks, within scope of the role, may be required as needed


Qualifications and Skills:

•High school diploma or equivalent

•Organized and methodical work ethic

•Excellent mechanical skills and attention to detail

•Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients

•Ability to work independently and as part of a team

•Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

•Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed

•Ability to lift heavy objects

•Ability to stand, kneel, and crouch for extended periods of time.

•Ability to work in various weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.

•Ability to work at heights, and use ladders and scaffolding as needed.
