    Job Description

    The Bus Person is responsible for supporting front-of-house operations by ensuring cleanliness, organization, and efficiency at Wynn Las Vegas. This role assists servers and contributes to a seamless guest experience by maintaining dining areas, resetting tables, and ensuring service readiness.

    The Bus Person plays a key role in delivering a positive guest experience by supporting the service team and maintaining the restaurant's overall presentation and flow.

    Key Responsibilities

    Dining Room Support

    • Clear, clean, and reset tables promptly and efficiently in accordance with service standards
    • Support servers by maintaining table readiness and assisting with guest needs as directed
    • Ensure all tables are properly set with glassware, silverware, and condiments prior to seating
    • Monitor dining areas to maintain cleanliness and readiness throughout service

    Guest Experience Support

    • Provide friendly, professional interactions with guests while assisting with service needs
    • Respond promptly to guest requests or direct them to the appropriate team member
    • Maintain awareness of dining room flow to anticipate and support guest service
    • Contribute to a welcoming, clean, and comfortable dining environment

    Operational Efficiency

    • Assist with stocking service stations, including napkins, utensils, glassware, and other supplies
    • Maintain side stations and service areas to ensure the team has necessary tools available
    • Support opening, running side work, and closing duties as assigned
    • Communicate with servers, hosts, and management to support efficient operations

    Cleanliness & Presentation

    • Maintain cleanliness of dining room tables, floors, chairs, and service areas
    • Ensure all areas meet Wynn appearance and cleanliness standards
    • Perform immediate cleaning tasks to preserve the guest experience during service
    • Follow all sanitation and hygiene standards

    Team Collaboration

    • Work closely with servers, hosts, runners, and management to ensure smooth service flow
    • Assist team members as needed to support overall restaurant operations
    • Contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment

    Compliance & Brand Standards

    • Adhere to all Wynn policies, service standards, and grooming guidelines
    • Follow all health, safety, and sanitation requirements
    • Maintain professionalism and represent Wynn brand standards at all times
    Qualifications

    Education & Experience

    • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
    • Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred but not required
    • Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment a plus
    • Candidates must be at least 21 years of age

    Knowledge & Skills

    • Strong work ethic and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
    • Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and organization
    • Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
    • Ability to remain efficient and professional under pressure

    Licenses & Certifications

    • Must be able to obtain and maintain all required work cards and licenses
