Henderson Sport & Social is a state-of-the-art, 180,000-square-foot destination opening in Henderson, Nevada. The facility is designed to become a premier destination for youth and adult sports, recreation, fitness, dining, and family entertainment while serving as a gathering place for the local community.
Our facility features basketball, volleyball and pickleball courts, indoor turf fields, bowling, a dual-level laser tag arena, Krazy Darts, miniature golf, arcade games, a full-service restaurant and bar, fitness center, Child Watch, and flexible event spaces capable of hosting birthday parties, tournaments, corporate outings, and community celebrations.

Position Summary

Servers create memorable dining experiences by building genuine relationships with guests while delivering knowledgeable, attentive, and personalized hospitality throughout Henderson Sport & Social.
This position provides table service throughout the restaurant, patio, bowling lanes, VIP bowling, Krazy Darts bays, event spaces, sports viewing areas, and meeting rooms. Servers anticipate guest needs, confidently recommend menu offerings and facility experiences, and represent Henderson Sport & Social as hospitality ambassadors during every interaction.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide exceptional table service throughout the restaurant, patio, bowling lanes, VIP bowling, Krazy Darts bays, event spaces, sports viewing areas, and meeting rooms.
  • Develop expert knowledge of the food menu, beverage menu, seasonal features, allergy information, and children's menu while maintaining a working knowledge of birthday parties, memberships, sports, fitness, and facility offerings.
  • Recommend appetizers, desserts, cocktails, signature entrees, promotions, memberships, and current features in a hospitality-focused manner.
  • Anticipate guest needs throughout the dining experience and resolve simple guest concerns after involving leadership when appropriate.
  • Process guest payments accurately, including split checks, gift cards, and approved payment methods.
  • Maintain assigned side stations by stocking supplies, rolling silverware, polishing glassware, maintaining beverage stations, and completing opening and closing side work.
  • Cross-train with Hosts, Food Runners, and Bussers while answering basic facility questions and supporting operations as business needs require.
  • Communicate effectively with the kitchen, bartenders, hosts, food runners, bussers, and leadership to ensure seamless service.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and guest-ready service area throughout every shift.
  • Complete additional operational duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain all required alcohol and food service certifications.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
  • Excellent communication and hospitality skills.
  • Positive attitude with a passion for guest service and teamwork.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous full-service restaurant experience.
  • Knowledge of food, wine, beer, spirits, and responsible alcohol service.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-attraction hospitality environment.
Physical Requirements
  • Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
  • Frequently lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
  • Occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds with assistance.
  • Bend, kneel, reach, push, pull, and carry trays, beverages, and service supplies.
  • Maintain a professional appearance while working in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
