Signing Bonus: $500.00 Payable after 90 days of employment
Villas at Killearn Lakes is a unique neighborhood of individual homes for assisted living and memory care, is seeking a Weekend LPN who is passionate about caring for seniors and enjoys working in a non-traditional setting. This part-time position entails working on every other weekend and being on-call. As an LPN at Villas at Killearn Lakes, you will be a vital part of our Clinical & Operations Support Team, providing clinical support, assessment, and guidance to both our staff and the Elders residing in our community.
The role of the LPN is to act as a clinical resource to staff and those Elders living in the Villas. The role of our LPN position is within our Clinical & Operations Support Team which includes assessing and monitoring the clinical status of or Elders and delivering clinical advice and direction.
Duties:
  • Offer clinical support and coaching to direct care workers
  • Conduct clinical assessment and provide clinical advice and resources
  • Assist in managing medical emergencies during your shift or on-call
  • Educate family members on medication and clinical concerns as requested
  • Collaborate with physicians and medical care providers on clinical and medication needs
  • Process medication refills and new orders in our Electronic Health Record system
  • Collaborate with the contracted pharmacy on clarifying medication orders and processing refills
  • Assist in monitoring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Mentor new employees and provide education and training to staff
  • Serve as backup to the Primary Community Nurse when needed

Qualifications:
  • LPN license, preferably with assisted living experience
  • Experience in gerontology is a plus
