• Provide individual and group therapy sessions to both teens and adults, focusing on strategies to overcome experiences related to domestic violence.
• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to inform treatment goals and integrate evidence-based practices into client care.
• Facilitate community referrals and collaborate with external agencies to provide clients with vital resources and support.
• Maintain comprehensive and confidential client records that adhere to ethical and legal standards of practice.
• Engage in crisis intervention when necessary, offering emotional support and immediate assistance to clients in distress.
• Be an active participant in monthly clinical supervision and team meetings to discuss case progress, share insights, and contribute to a positive clinical culture.
• Manage a caseload that reflects your availability, skill set, and experience, ensuring high-quality service delivery tailored to client needs.

This role primarily serves women and teenage clients, providing therapeutic methods that are sensitive to their experiences with domestic violence. Additionally, the LPCC will offer play therapy sessions for children in these detrimental environments, utilizing specialized techniques to assist young clients in expressing their feelings and navigating their challenges safely. The focus will be on creating a nurturing space where clients feel seen, heard, and validated.

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Clinical Psychology, or a related mental health field is required.
• Candidates must possess an active LPCC license to practice in California.

• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are necessary for attending off-site meetings and consultations.

• Availability for late afternoon sessions (3 pm - 8 pm, at least two evenings per week) is preferred, with some weekend availability being a bonus.
