Summary of position-

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mobile Engineer to lead the development of our private aviation mobile platform used by clients to search, book, and manage private flights. This role involves building scalable and high-performing React Native applications that deliver a seamless end-to-end flight experience, powered by our proprietary backend APIs. You will also oversee automated deployment pipelines to ensure reliable releases across iOS and Android platforms.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities-

  • Lead the architecture, development, and optimization of our cross-platform mobile apps using React Native.
  • Implement and manage mobile CI/CD workflows with Fastlane for build automation, testing, and App Store deployment.
  • Integrate Firebase for analytics, crash reporting, and real-time user engagement tracking.
  • Work collaboratively with backend engineers to design and consume APIs.
  • Ensure high standards of performance, security, and compliance within aviation and privacy guidelines.
  • Optimize app performance and user interface for smooth and responsive experiences on both iOS and Android platforms.
  • Experience integrating push notifications, deep linking, and in-app analytics.
  • Knowledge of AWS or Google Cloud for backend integrations.
  • Prior experience working in startups or fast-paced cross-functional teams.


Requirements:

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities-

  • Strong understanding of modern JavaScript (ES6+) and mobile architecture best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Remote Config, Analytics).
  • Proven experience setting up and maintaining Fastlane pipelines for iOS and Android.
  • Proficiency with Git-based workflows, CI/CD integration, and app store submission processes.
  • Strong UX sensibility and attention to detail in mobile interactions and performance.
  • Familiarity with private aviation, logistics, or travel tech platforms is a strong plus.

Education & Experience-

  • 5+ years of professional experience in mobile development, including 3+ years with React Native.
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

Schedule & Travel-

  • The typical work schedule includes five 8-hour shifts assigned to one of the established schedules within the department. Nights, weekends and/or holidays may be required to support the needs of the organization.
  • Ability to travel as needed up to 10%.
