About the Role

Supply Chain Specialist is responsible for the overall management and tracking of the Company’s inventory and logistics/rental fleet along with managing deliveries to maximize utilization of all related equipment and services to ensure flawless execution for our customers. The Supply Chain Specialist will take on many roles at the company relating to all parts of supply chain and logistics, including purchasing, relationship management, project management, logistics coordination and more. It is the perfect role for an innovative, hard working supply chain professional who's up for a new challenge.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as project manager for rig-up, rig-down and re-rig projects, from bid to execution to closeout including:

    • Planning and scheduling materials and equipment deliveries

    • Quality Assurance and Control for inventory and chemical consumption

    • Tracking project schedule, inventory levels and budget

  • Tracking and managing inventory for several distinct sites including:

    • Ensure deliveries of equipment and materials on time and following schedule

    • Manage the Company’s fleet and third-party carriers to optimize the work flow and delivery of critical materials

    • Create and distribute BOL’s

    • Juggle schedules and coordinate personnel and vendors

  • Maintain strong vendor relationships, negotiate with new and existing providers to ensure competitive pricing

  • Partner with leadership to identify and implement process improvements and other initiatives

  • Audit bills and invoices, reconciling expenses on jobs. Partner with accounting and operations teams closely

  • Establish methods and metrics to facilitate forecasting/demand planning, ordering and inventory management, production.

  • Represent Clean Chemistry as the premier water treatment solution in the oil & gas industry

Requirements

  • Ability to continually interact professionally under any circumstances

  • Critical thinking, initiative, value creation and interpersonal effectiveness is a must

  • Must have computer skills, the ability to analyze and extremely detail oriented

  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Excel or Google Sheets (pivot tables, VLOOKUPS, HLOOKUPS). Strong GSuite experience preferred, but not required

  • Entrepreneurial, enjoys and possesses experience creating processes

  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment

  • Attention to detail

  • Organized, and ability to prioritize, as well as see the bigger picture

Additional Requirements

  • Prior experience managing vendors, preferable chemical vendors

  • Must possess a valid driver's license and be eligible to drive a company vehicle according to Clean Chemistry’s insurance guidelines.

  • Ability to work some weekend/holiday hours on an as needed basis

  • Ability to frequently bend, twist and stand

  • Ability to work in an office environment on a daily basis, mostly on the computer
