POSITION SUMMARY:First Choice Home Health of Ohio, Inc. and its Affiliates Regional Sales Manager is an employee of this agency that acts under the direct control of the Director of Operations and is responsible to facilitate the referral to admission process for home care patients. The Regional Sales Manager develops relationships with referral sources to ensure that eligible patients receive care, barriers to admissions are addressed to resolution, and patient and agency growth and profitability meets or exceeds standards. This position is also responsible for providing patient follow-up to patients who have been admitted and discharged from the agency. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and implement market plan Meet monthly Agency targeted admission goals. Develop and maintain Physician, Hospital and ALF profiles including background, contact history, objectives, referral trends etc. Maintain communication with referral sources to ensure customer satisfaction. Participate in Weekly Sales/Operations meeting with Administrator/Branch Manager and agency staff and sales activity, potential problems and new opportunities. Promote Services through conventions, trade shows, public relations etc. Receives and processes physicians orders. Files completed paperwork into appropriate client charts. Verifies Medicare and Medicaid numbers per policy. Assist with patient scheduling as needed. Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and First Choice referral/intake regulatory requirements; including F2F compliance. Establish and maintain positive working relationships with current and potential referral sources. All other duties as assigned.
