The position will have potential travel to travel job sites nationwide, although primarily serving job sites throughout Missouri and Illinois initially.

Responsibilities Include:

· Interpret blueprints, construction documents, and technical specifications related to firestop installations.
· Identify and select appropriate firestop materials for different substrates and penetrants (e.g., pipes, conduits, ducts, cables).
· Prepare and clean surfaces for application and ensure proper adhesion of firestop products.
· Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal fire codes and safety regulations.
· Work closely with project managers, inspectors, and other trades to ensure quality installations.
· Document installations, including system types, materials used, and locations for inspection and quality assurance purposes.
· Use tools and equipment safely, including caulking guns, drills, and hand tools.
· Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring proper handling of firestop materials and tools.
· Participate in safety meetings and adhere to all company safety protocols.
· Work in all weather conditions.
· Perform tasks at heights such as attics, ladders, scaffolding, and commercial ceilings.
· Enter tight or confined spaces, such as crawl spaces and mechanical rooms.
Required:
· 1+ years of construction, insulation, or firestop installation experience.
· Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and UL listings.
· Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
· Willingness and ability to travel extensively throughout the United States (Monday–Friday, home on weekends).
· Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and reliable transportation.
· Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
· Must pass a background check and drug screen in accordance with customer requirements.
Preferred:
· Knowledge of UL firestop systems and fire-resistance-rated construction.
· Experience working in schools, hospitals, data centers, or other government facilities with critical environments with firestopping needs.
· Familiarity with Hilti, STI, 3M, or other major firestop system manufacturers.
