Fire Alarm Service Technician

About the Role

As a Fire Alarm Service Technician, you will play a key role in helping keep customers safe through the inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial fire alarm systems. This position offers a variety of day-to-day work, hands-on problem solving, and long-term career advancement opportunities.

What You’ll Do
  • Test, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair commercial fire alarm systems
  • Diagnose and document system deficiencies and needed repairs
  • Perform routine maintenance and service work to ensure code compliance
  • Educate customers on system functionality and recommended solutions
  • Maintain accurate service documentation and inspection reports
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while professionally representing Nelbud
What We’re Looking For
  • Valid driver’s license with the ability to drive company vehicles to job sites
  • Experience with fire alarm troubleshooting, repair, and service preferred
  • NICET Level II certification required
  • NICET Level III certification preferred
  • KY/OH Fire Alarm License is required or must be obtained
  • Strong computer and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule
  • Professional attitude with strong customer service skills
