Job description

Founded in 1984, Firetrol is the national leader in fire protection & life safety services. We are currently seeking a Fire Alarm Apprentice to join our team of over 1,200 of the best fire protection professionals in the industry.

  • Assist with the installation of fire protection equipment and the service, repair and maintenance of fire protection systems under direct supervision of a licensed Technician.
  • Assist with diagnosing and evaluating systems that require servicing as well as troubleshoot issues that arise during inspections under direct supervision of a licensed Technician.
  • Interact with customers, contractors, vendors and other employees in a respectful, professional manner.

Requirements

  • Work experience, training or education in the installation, maintenance, inspection and repair of fire systems or related equipment is preferred but not mandatory. Training will be provided.
  • May work in variety of businesses and institutions including commercial, industrial, manufacturing, healthcare, education and government facilities.
  • Must possess or be willing to obtain any applicable state licenses.
  • Must be able to satisfy Government, Federal and Customs background check requirements.
