Job description

At Fertility Centers of New England (FCNE), we believe exceptional patient care begins with exceptional people. Since 1993, we have been a leader in fertility care, helping thousands of individuals and families achieve their dreams of parenthood through compassionate, personalized treatment.

We are seeking a caring, organized, and motivated Registered Nurse to join our clinical team at our Reading, MA location. This role offers a rewarding nursing career with no overnight shifts and no on call responsibilities, and the opportunity to build lasting relationships with patients throughout their fertility journey. If you are passionate about patient education, collaboration, and making a meaningful impact every day, we would love to hear from you.

Why Nurses Choose FCNE

  • Flexible 32 to 40 hour schedule with no overnight shifts and no on call responsibilities.
  • Predictable daytime hours, with every other weekend rotation and scheduled weekdays off in exchange.
  • A collaborative clinical team and the opportunity to build a specialty in reproductive medicine.

What You'll Do

  • Support patients through telephone triage, education on treatment plans, medications, injections, and procedures, and pre and post operative follow up.
  • Coordinate diagnostic testing and treatment schedules for patients beginning fertility treatment cycles, and communicate with patients by phone and Patient Portal in collaboration with physicians.
  • Document patient interactions accurately in the EMR, and coordinate care with satellite offices and outside laboratories.
  • Lead patient orientation and injection teaching sessions, and train to serve as the Reviewing RN for daily cycle monitoring.
  • Provide PACU recovery care following egg retrievals and other office based procedures, including assessment, monitoring, discharge teaching, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with physicians, medical assistants, and the broader clinical team to deliver safe, compassionate, and efficient patient care.

What We're Looking For

  • Current Massachusetts RN license and BLS certification required.
  • Minimum of one year of RN experience preferred; experience in women's health, OB/GYN, fertility, ambulatory care, PACU, or procedural nursing preferred but not required.
  • Strong assessment, communication, and patient education skills, with proficiency in electronic medical records.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively in a fast paced clinical environment.

Schedule

This position works 32 to 40 hours per week on a day shift, typically 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Every other weekend is required (Saturday and Sunday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.), with scheduled weekdays off in exchange when working a weekend. Holiday rotation is required.

Why Join Fertility Centers of New England?

When you join FCNE, you become part of a team dedicated to excellence, innovation, and compassionate patient care, with the opportunity to grow your career in the specialty of reproductive medicine.

We offer:

  • Competitive compensation: $34.00 to $48.00 per hour, based on experience
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Paid time off and paid holidays
  • Company paid life and disability insurance
  • Continuing education opportunities
  • Employee Assistance Program
  • Employee discount program
