Recruiter: Ashley Bridier | Ashley.Bridier@airgas.com | Call/Text 770-797-6067Operates a Class B Hazmat vehicle, delivering compressed and liquid gas cylinders and hard goods along designated routes. Collects empty cylinders from customers. Records transactions and obtains signatures. Addresses customer inquiries, ensuring satisfaction. Handles loading/unloading. Conducts pre/post-trip vehicle checks, noting issues and ensuring safety compliance. Presents a professional appearance and upkeeps the vehicle's condition.What You'll Do:
  • Be a Customer Ambassador: You'll be the primary point of contact for our customers, driving an established route to deliver compressed gas cylinders and related products. You'll handle customer orders, resolve service complaints, and build strong relationships.
  • Safety and Efficiency: You'll safely and efficiently load, transport, and unload products from our company-provided straight or box truck, adhering to all DOT and company regulations.
  • Maintain Your Vehicle: You'll perform routine maintenance checks and keep your truck clean, ensuring it is ready for your daily route.
  • This role requires a high degree of physical capability and stamina to safely handle and deliver our products with routinely lifting 25-75 lbs and up to 125+lbs with the aid material handling equipment. You will be frequently bending and driving for up to 8 hours a day of hazardous cargo.
________________________Are you a MATCH? Required Qualifications:
  • Experience: At least one full year of Class A or B CDL driving experience that is verifiable under DOT requirements in the past 5 years. Or a recent graduate from an accredited driving school. Exceptional customer service skills and a proactive attitude, is a plus.
  • Endorsements: Class A or B CDL with a Hazmat endorsement or the ability to obtain your Hazmat upon contingency of offer.
  • Clean Record: A clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) is essential and at least 21 years of age.
  • This role requires a high degree of physical capability and stamina to safely handle and deliver our products with routinely lifting 25-75 lbs and up to 125+lbs with the aid material handling equipment. You will be frequently bending, walking, standing and driving for up to 8 hours a day of hazardous cargo.
  • Skills: The ability to work independently, manage your time effectively, and read/comprehend material safety data sheets.
