The Event Bartender is responsible for beverage service at catering events for Founding Farmers Catering and Events. This role works under the direction of the Event Lead and ensures beverages are prepared and served according to company standards while maintaining responsible alcohol service. As a member of the event staffing team, the Event Bartender plays a key role in creating a positive guest experience while maintaining service standards, cleanliness, and attention to detail throughout the event. Success in this role requires arriving on time and in proper attire for every event, bringing positive energy and professionalism to each shift, and consistently delivering exceptional service with a friendly, guest focused demeanor.
This position requires reliable transportation to off premise and on-site catering events throughout the Washington, DC metropolitan area, Virginia, and Maryland. Candidates must have the ability to travel to and from event locations as needed. The catering production center is located in District Heights Maryland. - Set up, operate, and break down bar stations at events
- Prepare and serve beverages according to approved recipes and company standards
- Ensure bar areas are clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout the event

- Accurately document beverage consumption and provide reporting for bill on consumption bars
- Assist servers, bartenders, and event staff as needed during service

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE AN EVENT BARTENDER:
- At least one year of bartending experience preferred, catering experience a plus
- TIPS certification required

- Capable of continuous bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, and use of hands and arms
