Entertainment Farm Manager

Position Summary

Perform duties required to help manage, lead and direct the work of employees and activities in our Belleville Pick-Your-Own Farm. Carry out company policies; assist with hiring and training of employees; supervise and motivate staff; and ensure cleanliness and customer satisfaction.
Essential Functions
  1. Ensure that the customer is the #1 priority and that every guest is treated accordingly.
  2. Manage the first 5 Moments of Magic:
    • The parking lot
    • The front entrance
    • The first 5 steps into your area
    • The first employee
    • Last impression
  3. Supervises, motivates, leads and directs the work of on-site employees by carrying out company policies.
  4. Ensure that all employees are properly trained in customer service and safety procedures.
  5. Trains employees in cash handling, POS system, service, and safety procedures.
  6. Keeps all staff up to date on Eckert information and crop status.
  7. Monitors consumer demand and trends.
  8. Demonstrates exceptional customer service at all times.
  9. Handles customer comments and concerns.
  10. Maintains a safe environment for staff and customers.
  11. Prepares weekly schedules for pick-your-own staff.
  12. Works with VP Retail of Operations to establish seasonal goals and promotions.
  13. Communicates regularly with office and staff regarding crop status.
  14. Oversees outdoor displays of merchandise and planters on display.
  15. Monitors all areas of customer service, especially during rush periods, to ensure high quality and effective customer service.
