Physical Security – Corporate Facility

  • Conduct interior and exterior patrols of office floors, lobbies, loading docks, and parking areas
  • Manage access control at entrances, including badge checks and visitor sign-in/verification
  • Assist with visitor management: issue badges, verify appointments, and direct visitors to the correct locations
  • Respond on-site to incidents (access problems, suspicious activity, safety hazards, employee assistance requests) and report findings back to the SOC
  • Enforce building rules and corporate security policies in a professional and customer-focused manner
  • Complete clear and accurate incident reports, daily activity reports, and other required documentation
  • Support building management and client representatives with security-related requests

Administrative & Computer-Based Responsibilities

  • Use computer systems and Microsoft Excel to maintain logs, incident records, and access reports
  • Update and maintain spreadsheets (incident logs, patrol logs, visitor logs, access exception reports) with accurate data entry
  • Multi-task between monitoring systems, handling calls, assisting employees/visitors, and completing documentation
  • Communicate clearly in writing and verbally with client contacts, building management, and the security team
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong computer skills, including:
    • Confident navigating Windows-based and web-based corporate systems

  • Professional communication skills and a strong customer service mindset
  • Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods and respond quickly to incidents as required
  • Ability to pass required background checks and meet any Connecticut security officer licensing requirements
