Weekend Party Manager
Position Summary
Adventurous Playground is looking for a reliable, energetic, and organized Weekend Party Manager to oversee birthday parties and private events on Saturdays and Sundays.
This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for making sure each party runs smoothly, stays on schedule, and provides families with a fun, clean, organized, and stress-free experience.
The Weekend Party Manager will supervise party staff, oversee setup and cleanup, communicate with party families, manage transitions between events, and handle any issues that come up during the day.
Key Responsibilities
Party & Event Management

  • Oversee all scheduled birthday parties and private events during the shift.
  • Review the party schedule and package details before each event.
  • Make sure party spaces are clean, organized, and ready before guests arrive.
  • Confirm that included items such as tables, tablecloths, pizzas, waters, socks, decorations, and other package items are prepared when applicable.
  • Keep parties on schedule from setup through cleanup.
  • Manage transitions between parties so the next event begins on time.
  • Coordinate food deliveries, vendors, entertainers, and other event services when applicable.
Staff Supervision

  • Lead and supervise party hosts and weekend staff.
  • Assign responsibilities for setup, guest support, cleaning, food service, and breakdown.
  • Make sure staff remain productive and professional throughout the shift.
  • Step in and assist wherever needed.
  • Address staff concerns and communicate important issues to ownership.
Customer Service

  • Welcome the birthday family and review important party details upon arrival.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for the party host/family during the event.
  • Answer questions and help resolve concerns professionally.
  • Make sure guests feel welcomed and supported.
  • Handle difficult situations calmly and appropriately.
Safety & Facility Oversight

  • Monitor the playground and party areas throughout each event.
  • Ensure playground rules and safety procedures are followed.
  • Make sure required waivers and check-in procedures are completed.
  • Keep party rooms, common areas, bathrooms, and play spaces clean and presentable.
  • Respond appropriately to injuries, incidents, spills, or other concerns.
  • Report maintenance or safety concerns to ownership.
End-of-Shift Responsibilities

  • Make sure all party areas are completely cleaned and reset.
  • Confirm supplies are restocked for the next party or operating day.
  • Complete closing procedures when scheduled.
  • Communicate any customer concerns, incidents, inventory needs, or staff issues to ownership.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in events, hospitality, recreation, childcare, customer service, or team leadership preferred.
