About Cardamom
The next evolution of healthcare requires flexible, agile teams to deliver high-tech, results-based solutions and support. Our team is here to help our customers tackle the initiatives and challenges on their organizational roadmap, and give clinicians, operational teams, and researchers access to the data they need to take care of their patients and improve health outcomes.
Cardamom is cultivating a multidisciplinary team of exceptional individuals with diverse skills and experiences in healthcare - data, analytics, AI, and EHR application experts. We are also passionate about growing the careers of those who may have little or no experience in these fields when the opportunity arises. Our team of data scientists, machine learning engineers, revenue cycle professionals, and certified application specialists would love for you to join us.
About the role
  • We are looking for a talented and experienced Epic Senior PB Claims Analyst to join our team. As an Epic Senior PB Claims Analyst, you will assume a support role in implementing and maintaining the Epic electronic health record (EHR) system for our clients. You will work as a part of a team-based culture to meet our client's support needs while mentoring others and having fun!

What you'll do
  • Play a key role in supporting the strategic direction and execution of medium-priority client contracts involving Epic EHR software, ensuring coordination between internal teams and clients to meet contract objectives.
  • Provide advanced guidance and support to internal teams and clients, utilizing your strong knowledge of Epic EHR software to improve system performance and enhance user experience.
  • Contribute to the analysis, design, and execution of Epic EHR system solutions for client contracts, ensuring quality specifications and seamless integration with client workflows.
  • Assist in troubleshooting complex issues within the Epic EHR system for client contracts, conducting in-depth analysis to identify root causes, and proposing solutions to improve system stability and user satisfaction.
  • Document Epic EHR system configurations, workflows, and processes clearly, ensuring documentation is accessible to both technical teams and end users.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of internal documentation, knowledge bases, and training materials focused on Epic EHR software to foster team collaboration and process consistency.
  • Assist with the change control process for Epic EHR related to client contracts, ensuring smooth migration of application builds and compliance with internal standards.
  • Contribute to ad hoc initiatives and internal efforts related to Epic EHR software, offering technical insights, and helping to develop documentation reflecting contract outcomes and lessons learned.
  • Monitor and report on Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for Epic EHR system performance related to client contracts, identifying potential issues and suggesting improvements for future planning.
  • Facilitate communication between teams, ensuring clear documentation of decisions and follow-up actions related to client contracts involving Epic EHR.

Qualifications
  • Epic certification in the relevant application(s), coupled with a demonstrable track record of successful implementations and optimizations
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in providing application support, implementation, or training within the Epic ecosystem, showcasing a deep understanding of the intricacies of the platform
  • Knowledge of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) processes
  • Ability to take on-call rotations outside of core business hours, including nights and weekends, if needed
