Summary Works under a Registered Nurse as well as ED Provider to perform delegated medical functions. Assists in the care and treatment of patients of all ages in accordance with established policies, procedures, standards and philosophy in order to provide quality patient care.Job DutiesThe essential functions of this job are identified with an asterisk (*) at the end of the bullet point.Obstetrics, Pediatrics, Medical, Surgical (inpatient/outpatient), Emergency, Senior Care, Nursery, Chemotherapy and Ambulance Transport as needed/delegated. Maintains certifications in all areas within scope of practice for LPNs, Paramedic, or EMT.Maintains documentation of cares provided to reflect current patient needs utilizing computerized documentation* Performs with minimal supervision, exercises good judgment to reduce errors. * Demonstrates willingness to work extra shifts if needed. * Demonstrates a willingness to train new staff.
