We are seeking a detail-oriented and quality-driven leader to join our team as the Group Manager | Site Design in our State College, PA office. The Group Manager | Site Design is a dynamic leader with a collaborative leadership mindset that is responsible for cultivating a coaching culture and ensuring high standards in project execution and client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership amp; Coaching: Inspire and coach group members to enhance our employee-owner culture and drive engagement in their professional development
  • Project Management: Ensure timely and superior project delivery while collaborating across service groups
  • Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure long-term partnerships and satisfaction
  • Financial Oversight: Manage project budgets, prioritize workloads, and ensure fiscal responsibility
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Operations and Service AVPs to address staffing, resource allocation, and operational efficiency
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Pennsylvania P.E. License and/or Landscape Architect License
  • 7+ years in subdivision, land planning, and land development engineering including site layout and design, grading, utility design, storm water management, erosion control, and preparation of permit applications and engineering reports
  • Project management and project team supervisory experience
  • Understanding of municipal review, approval process, and ordinance application is required
  • Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Basic knowledge of computerized project management systems such as Deltek Vantagepoint and various engineering applications required
  • Experience in client relations, proposal preparation, project budgeting, and public presentations
  • Demonstrates excellent leadership, communication, planning, and organizational skills
  • Effective utilization of common business platforms such as Microsoft Office Suite, virtual meeting tools, etc.
  • Flexibility to travel to job sites, meetings, and other offices as necessary, which may include overnight stays
  • Valid US Driver’s License is required
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
