Responsibilities
  • Perform chemical analysis and titrations on laboratory and customer samples.
  • Operate and maintain laboratory instruments including pH meters, hydrometers, refractometers, titration equipment, XRF, and ICP systems.
  • Conduct quality control testing for production solutions.
  • Maintain and replenish internal laboratory solutions and chemical baths.
  • Prepare and analyze customer samples submitted for testing.
  • Collaborate with technicians, sales managers, production personnel, and support staff to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Perform coating thickness measurements using XRF technology.
  • Assist with chemical refining processes and electroplating solution maintenance.
  • Document analytical results, generate reports, and maintain accurate laboratory records.
  • Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
  • Participate in customer visits, trade shows, equipment installations, demonstrations, and training activities as needed (optional travel).
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, Metallurgy, or a related scientific discipline preferred.
  • Associate’s degree in a scientific or technical field, combined with relevant laboratory or industry experience, will also be considered.
  • Ability to perform basic chemical calculations and apply logical problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with chemicals, including acids and plating salts.
  • Familiarity with wet chemistry analysis and acid/base titrations preferred.
  • Experience with XRF thickness measurements and analytical instrumentation is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of ICP analysis is considered a plus.
  • Understanding of pH measurement, solution chemistry, and laboratory documentation practices.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to laboratory safety procedures.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
